On the construction site, concrete release agents must meet a particularly wide range of requirements. Varying weather conditions, types of formwork and concrete workabilities require the release agent to be very versatile. At the same time, it must achieve an excellent separation performance.

In many cases, mineral oil-based release agents are used because contractors assume that environmentally friendly emulsions are not capable of meeting all these challenges.
